Pomo Toy Design for ELISAVA
Together with my colleague Núria, we developed Pomo Toy, a design project created at ELISAVA with the aim of helping children fall asleep in a calmer and more secure way.
The project consists of an interactive plush toy that lights up when hugged tightly, providing comfort to children during nighttime awakenings and moments of fear, while also functioning as a soft night light. After being hugged and deactivated, the toy emits a gentle sound resembling a cat’s purr, designed to promote relaxation and support the child in returning to sleep.
Additionally, the project includes app-based monitoring, allowing parents to track their children’s sleep patterns, combining emotional design, technology, and child well-being.
